Verna is an Icelandic InsurTech that partners with insurers to bring innovative digital insurance solutions to market that deliver real results. Verna aims to be a transformative force in the insurance market, enhancing people's quality of life through increased security, well-being, and health. All our solutions have been tested in Iceland where Verna launched a Digital Motor Insurance product in April 2022 that captured around 2,3% market share in less than 18 months.

What makes our product unique is its comprehensive ecosystem of services designed to simplify the everyday experience of owning a car. This includes benefits like pay for parking, offers for car wash, roadside assistance, and more, all integrated within a fully-fledged motor insurance app that manages all essential processes—ranging from onboarding and policy management to invoicing, claims, and payments. Currently, around 7% of Icelandic drivers utilise the Verna app, primarily for the valuable services it offers, which are accessible to everyone.
